General heading and Info

GAME DESIGN

<> GENRE: RPG / Visual Novel hybrid over all.

<> FOCUS: Exploration of Consciousness as a whole through the prism of human characters and not only.

<> As complex, living characters as possible.

<> Players will be allowed to experience as much as possible through the character themselves (Unity-version of this game will be started much later, and will most likely have a MUCH GREATER accent on this) - MAIN FOCUS OF THE GAME!

<> Not interested in creating yet another RPG/ Visual Novel.

LENGTHY PROJECT DESIGN!

<> I have decided to make this a particularly long project, therefore will take a very long time!

<> will have some intricate events (like choices in a loop, in another choice in a loop). Many conditionals and the usual usage of helper plugins.

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

<> currently the game is being filled with the possible events the player can interact with, as well as trigger.

<> 5 playable characters with different personality and feel (will be a main focus, under development in time - events first).

<> events depicted on Youtube and currently present are skeletal assets, which are subject to change.

<> once I create more events, I will implement the greater assets, like (intended but dunno if it'll be final) an Emotional System, Clock-based events and character movements (similar to how characters move by time in Yandere Simulator).

<> there will be minor similarities with Yandere Simulator (a game I follow as inspiration since it tackles a few aspects of the dark triad of Psychiatry as well as a few dark aspects of the mind). However, do not rush into accusing me of having stolen ideas.

<> READ THIS (IMPORTANT!!): I am open to ideas, improvements and the such, criticism is open, HOWEVER - even if the game will have SOME gruesome aspects and events (like violence towards people/ animals - simulated for now, nothing fully graphical yet) - such aspects MIGHT become part of the game, so... don't follow if you have angst against the such. Game will be created based on my specific of not limiting my imagination (except when it would become really too cringy for most people), so expect... disturbing things. Don't deploy pleasure from the such, they are made to be experienced through the game in a neutral manner.

<> READ THIS (IMPORTANT!!): If you find the gruesomeness of the game too disturbing, note: it won't be that much (I hope XD). And NO! This game will NOT target any social aspect or population layer,  gender, religion, affiliation, group or the such, any resemblance will be purely coincidental (really, I will try avoiding any possible hidden meanings). If you feel disturbed by the content, take heed, there will be announcements that will announce the types of horrid things to expect (deployed before the final version of this either this Chapter or the whole game are to be released). And NO, the gruesomeness will not be reduced. Any event I create will remain as such, only suffering changes to improve possible impact, character performance, sound and/ or graphic settings (details, etc.) or to conduct corrections!

LOOKING TO LEARN

<> project was decided to be a very long one so that I have the time to learn different skills in the meantime, which will help with the improvement of this project.

Skills looking to be learned in time:

<> JavaScript - to create own plugins! I have a Yu-Gi-Oh! card battle system idea in mind which I will personally dive into once I get better with JavaScript. Will be done with or without any help. Am currently undergoing a lengthy Java course!

<> 2D and 3D character design + animations - while a few animations have been done by me through the use of Sakan and animated through Events, the creation of the such would really help me in the future, especially when I'll dive into Unity and C#.

<> Unity and C# learning - this project will be the trampoline to propel me to the higher level! This part is under waiting. Am currently undergoing Dan Lok's High Ticket Closing course and a comprehensive Java course that will take some of my time (also job).
