< OF AILMENTZ, BOONIES AND BUFFERINOS >

< General Changes >

<> Corrected keyword color for Untouchable, it is not a Distortion +X but an Enforcer.

 > Same for Unaware.

<> Chronowarp no longer disables all other ability's effects, but will be an ability that typically reduces CDs.

<> RULE: Retrigger (new keyword) refers to any effect presented before in the description.

 > Retriggers means the effect presented before it will try to retrigger during each following Introductory Phase, if the main effect is still active.

 > Affects any kind of effect that can be reapplied at round start; most specific to 1-round long effects.

<> Added missing properties for Spirit Candles for each character in the algorithm.

<> RULE: If an Ailment / boon would be reapplied but is already present, no effect triggers, and duration increases by +1 round instead (max: 4 rounds).

 > Nourishment / Defilement Bar still increases.

<> Resource can now be exchanged for and into once per Phase instead of once per round.

<> Transaction Limit has been changed to 1x per Phase instead of per round (was not intended so).

<> Created a new stat called Detect +X which warns caster of having been applied hidden effects on.

 > Triggers AFTER Obstruction +X effects.

 > Alertness and Sanctified also grant Detect +X.

 > Changed from initially preventing such effects' application.

<> Created a list of properties for each of the (HIDDEN) effects that also have a duration. These properties take into account whether that hidden effect is "detected".

<> Rewrote all the effects for the description boxes of Ailment and damage Immunity effects.

 > Converted them from "Positive Effects" and "Immunity Effects" and whatever other names Tags they had into Preventions (Obstructions) and also specified their 1 round duration within each description card.

<> Will change Aura into Combo Field interactions into generic effects that will grant self and allies Elemental Resistance +10% (1 round) based on Aura's Type (foes lose same type Resistance) and 1 Debuff that increases damage taken based on Combo Field's Type.

<> Created a description box for each of the Prevention, Disability, Enforcer and Protection effect that existed.

<> Created a big chunk of the description boxes that will be needed for the Encyclopedia.


< [Combo Effects] >

<> Created description boxes for each [Combo} effect.

<> [Combo Coruptor] no longer lenghens the duration of Debuffs o ntarget, also removed its 2 rounds CD.

 > On trigger it applies 2 Disabilities.

<> [Combo Utility] range increased from 1 to 2 and Resistance granted increased from 5% to 15%.

<> [Combo Despoil] deals 2 Plague damage if triggered within a Death Field (was still related to Combo Field Element, changed to Plague damage instead for this).


< Sindora, the Warped Goofball >

<> Removed the Rest mechanic, redundant.

<> Finalised Sindora's property writing. Some of the more important changes are below.

< Passives >

<> Chronomatronica - No longer able to store Fortune Labels (since they automatically go in their Deck, so it makes no sense to delay their use, since anyways they have to be drawn to be used).

 > Skills can now be stored instead.

<> Chronomatrixa Slab Control "Encyclopedia Moronica" changes:

 > Burst Slab now deals Earth damage on first effect and is no longer a Combo Resonator, but a Combo Burst instead (which applies to both Sacrifice and Consume effects!)

  > Burst Slab also deals 31 damage with each effect instead of 41 (first effect didn't deal damage anyways).

 > Salvation Slab's Consume effect is a Combo Resonator now.


< Talismans >

<> Feather of Elemental Power description change to better reflect its mechanic. Same effect.

<> Devoid Feather can now trigger each of its Reactions without ending (unless both have been triggered - still 1x per round, even when this returns from Storage).

<> Immunity Feather effect changed from triggering after Ailments have been removed to triggering when up to 3 Ailments would fail to be removed.


< Elemental Spells >

<> Adding a Wisdom cost, as intended.

<> Specified that Elemental Spells that require Wisdom (Prerequisite) is required BEFORE cast (to clarify).

<> Gave name to each of them that had none.

<> Spike Shower Improve 2 does not affect self (also mentioned in description, since it was missing). Reduced Wisdom cost from 2 to 1.

<> Purifying Flames Improve 2 cost changed from 2 Nihility to 2 Destruction.

 > Improve 3 also removes 1 boon from struck foes.

 > Ultimate Combo effect, if true, now removes 2 Dark Utilities / 2 Scourges OR 2 Dark Favors (choice, though not mentioned).

<> Nethergift increased healing on target ally, also now deals equal damage to the healing (default, initially dealt damage only through Improve effects).

 > Improve 2 corrected "Water Aura" into "Water Field".

<> Voidsgift Prerequisite Wisdom reduced from 6 to 5.



< Ailments >

<> RULE: Ailments' Application Effects will generally ignore Enforcer +X effects. (?)
 > - usually around other Ailments' / Mini Effects' applications.

<> Blindness now also disables Block, Dodge and Evasive (while this lasts).

 > Also sets Block +X, Dodge +X, Intercept +X and Counterattack +X to 0 (Distortions +X only, not the Favor +X Block and Dodge).

<> Diseased deals 10 Death damage with Multiplex and removes Mortalit Awareness on application.

 > (Vampiric) healing received -33% instead of -75%, but now also affects healing done (on others).

 > End Phase deals 20 Plague damage instead of Poison.

 > Removal or end of duration effect - applies Necrophobia (Debuff) as well.

<> Feebled Healing no longer reduces max HP on application, but increases its own duration by 1 round (max: 4).

 > All (Vampiric) healing - done and received - is no longer -33%, but -1 per Debuff on self and -2 per Ailment on self.

 > All (Vampiric) healing set to a max -30.

 > Boon application chance changed from -10% to -1% per Ailment, Debuff and Scourge on self (max: -30%).

<> Fear description realigned and initial Loss of Life dealt lowered from 25 to 20.

 > Movement Points consumed can no longer go negative.

 > Automatically removes Alertness and grants 2 Distortion of the X Dark Utilities.

 > Reduces target's Block, Dodge and Evasive by -10% for 1 round and also reduces target's Aura(s)' duration by -1 round.

 > Turned it into a more menacing Ailment.

<> Frozen discards target's Fire Aura and removes their Spirit Candle.

 > Also deals Frost damage on application and disables some {Combos}.

 > Creates a Water Field when target is struck with Fire damage.

 > Amplifies Lightning damage.

<> Heal Lock is no longer written with a dash within (as always was intended).

 > Corrected name in multiple sources.

 > Now applies Healing Prevent +5 and gains 1 stack per trigger. Ends on 5 stacks.

 > Boon application chance reduced from -20% to -7% per stack.

 > On removal, no longer grants 1 Potion of Healing, but applies Calamity (Debuff, 1 round) instead.

<> Heal-Stun also applies a protection against Debuff removal.

<> Confusion also affects Counterattack +X and Intercept +X and attacks have 40 - 69% chance instead of flat 40%.

 > Effect description changed to make more sense (better explanations).

 > Corrupts Clarity normally (no longer with increased duration).

<> Inhibited had its healing denial moved to Application Effects as a Disability.

 > Applies Disability remove prevention and prevents the application of Shields, mini-Shields and Barriers.

 > Resets HP and Mana Regeneration to 0 and the value cannot be INCREASED.

 > Inflicts Poison damage on gaining personal resources and / or Ultimate Energy.

<> Knockdown specified that Movement Points are removed during Engage Phase only (only Phase when they can be removed in the first place).

 > Also removes 2 Ultimate Energy and sets Counterattack +X and Intercept +X to 0.

 > Adjusted description to the new mechanics and hopefully be easier to understand.

 > Also applies Fragility and Refresh (Debuffs) on being removed.

<> Shattered now sets Resistances, Block Rate and Dodge Rate to 0.

 > Also applied Exposed (Debuff) and target takes increasingly more damage.

<> Battered reoriented into a Physical damage amplifier only.



< Boons >

<> REMINDER: If an Ailment is converted into a specific effect, the opposite boon is not gained!

 > The opposite boon is gained only when the Ailment is just "converted", without specifying something.

<> Alertness grants a few Enforcers as well on application, as well as 3 Distortion +X effects.

 > Gave it a link to Spirit Candles, so as this little mechanic gets a bit of synergy.

 > Increased Defense stats gained frm 10% to 20% and corrected wrong color for the keywords.

<> Blessed turned into a giga-boon.

 > Increased application heal from 30 to 65, and the "if true" effect from 45 to 90.

 > No longer grants max HP (+7 was laughable I think anyways), but removes all Prevent +X effects if in any of Light, Water, Holy or Hallowed Fields (initially only if in a Light Field).

 > Also applies a few Enforcers with Retrigger mechanic.

 > Was added another new effect that heals caster when casting Shouts, Chants or Mantras (to make another synergy with these ability Types).

<> Celerity no longer corruptable into Frozen / Crippled, but into Weakness / Staggered (makes more sense).

 > Grants 1 Movement Point on application and disallows abilities' CD increase for its duration as well as Movement Points loss.

<> Clarity grants 1 Spirit Candle and 3 Enforcer effects (each with Retrigger) mechanic.

 > Allows viewing hidden Machinations now, and also increases Xandaara's Vision range by +1.

 > Corrected keyword colors.

<> Endurance reduces duration of Debuffs and Scourges by 1 round. Further reduces damage taken from Taunted foes.

<> Purified also grants Light / Holy / Water Aura and 2 Buffs as well.

 > Healing increase changed from +25% to +20 (+1 per boon on self).

 > Now also reduces Death damage taken and Loss of Life taken.

 > Reduces application chances for healing-prohibiting Ailments and increases chances to be applied Sanctified.

<> Regeneration no longer heals and grants Mana based on max HP, but grants a Retrigger HP and Mana Regen instead (Retriggers - refers to the effect triggering again next Introductory Phase, if the main effect is still active).

 > Mentioned that Regeneration gain happens only if it wasn't already active (to prevent duration increase - which is not wanted in this context).

 > Granted a new heal and Mana gain that triggers per Phase.

 > Also removes 1 Debuff when it ends.

<> Resilience grants more Omni Shield, also now grants Siphon Shield.

 > Loss of Life reduction changed to -4 per stack (from -2) and damage (taken) reduction to -3 / Ailment (max: -24) instead.

 > Reduces chances to be applied Confusion and Incapacitated and also grants 2 different Distortions +X.

 > Changed end effects.

<> Sanctified is now corruptable into Inhibited or Diseased (from Weakness and Confusion).

 > Converts Inhibited and Diseased into certain effects.

 > Also applies Lightform (Buff), Purity (Buff) and Sanctified (Buff).

 > Regular effect changed to no longer prevent Mini Effects' application, but now, each stack prevents all Negative Effects, Distortions and Obstructions that an ACTION may apply. This was buffed from 1 stack removing 1 of ANY of the previously mentioned.

 > Added several duration effects.



< Mini Effects >

<> Boil had its duration removed (redundant).

<> Frosthardened now reduces the damage against Water damage, not just Frost.

 > Changed 1 property's name to suit description, corrected effect description and changed the previous one in the files.

<> MUST rearrange description effects on Debuffs (misaligned by a few pixels upwards).

<> Nosophobia (Debuff) has been changed to instead increase Death and Poison damage by a little. It still deals a bit of Death damage on Ailment gain.

 > Property chances undergone.

<> Effect description picture element alignment for the following Debuffs: Calamity, Exposed, Ochlophobia, Anemophobia (also slight picture change), Disoriented, Weakened, Dora's Malevolence, Dora's Forsight, Slide into the Void, Inner Collapse, Enfeebled, Hindered, Bleeding, Freezing, Fragility, Refresh, Staggered, Thornstruck, Deafened, Holy Splinters, Atychiphobia, Burn, Poisoned, Boil.

<> Regeneration (Buff) had its effect rewritten to make clear that Regeneration (the boon) is the one that gets the +1 round duration increase and not itself.

 > Specified that the healing on Buff gain is ONCE per buff-granting action (as intended, but not mentioned due to lack of space in the description box).

 > Sacrifice effect was changed into a Reaction effect (to bring to newer mechanics), although the Reaction effect is a Sacrifice (to preserve any Sacrifice-related synergy characters might have, though rare).

 > Better explained it is Regeneration that gains the duration increase and also reminding player that the maximum duration cannot exceed 4 rounds.

 > Changed the background color to make the similar-colored text easier to read.

<> Pureblood (Buff) text rearranged in the description picture, made bigger and changed the background color to make the similar-colored text easier to read.

<> Reverse Aggression (Buff) effect rewritten to use the "Retrigger" keyword instead of "Application and Introductory Phase".

 > Effect also rewritten in a way to better make sense, no functionality change.

 > Changed the background color to make the similar-colored text easier to read.

<> Purity (Buff)  effect rewritten to use the "Retrigger" keyword instead of "Application and Introductory Phase".

 > Changed the background color to make the similar-colored text easier to read.

<> Nora's Temple (Utility) specified that the effect triggers when Damage Prevent +X triggers.

<> Wonder (Utility) - keyword writing correct.

<> Dystychiphobia (DarkUtility) effect rewriting to correct keyword color and also make it easier to understand.

<> Prosophobia (Debuff) effect description rewritten.

<> Hexweaver (Utility) also increases own Hex application chance by +15%. Effect rewritten. Prevents 3 Hex applications instead of 1.

<> Hexweaver (Dark Favor) corrected keyword writing for Hex, effect rewritten to also include Vulnerability's duration.

<> Curseweaver (Utility) also increases Curse application chance by +15%. Effect rewritten. Prevents 2 Curse applications instead of 1. Increased Siphon Shield gained per trigger from 20 to 30.

<> Curseweaver (Dark Favor) only applies own Curses with +1 duration (no longer scales based on max HP, to prevent too lenghty effects). Also applies 1x Deathly Horizon (Dark Favor) on self and target per trigger.

<> Nora's Purity (Utilities) the 2 Utilities have had their effects united under 1 single description.

 > Changed "player" to Xandaara the Wise, since initially there was 1 playable character only.

 > Xandaara's healing changed to +6 instead of +5% per non-free Ether Core owned.

 > Xandaara's version removes 1 Debuff OR 1 Dark Utility (choice, though not specified) per 3 Ether Kernels owned (instead of per each one).

<> Greedrush (Dark Favors) the 2 were united under 1 single description.

 > Changed "player" to Xandaara the Wise, since initially there was 1 playable character only.

 > Description changed, the Incapacitated is inflicted next PLAYABLE round instead of just Main Phases (includes Engage Phase).

 > Shortened description to accomodate her name, Incapacitated is applied on gain instead of next Phase, but can now be prevented if Transcendence Level is at least 3.

<> Nora's Grace (Buff) slight effect description change.

<> Dora's Grace (Dark Favor) added reminder that only 1 Action Point can be gained per round.

<> Nora's Embrace (Favor) grants Block +3 and Dodge +3 instead of "next 3 abilities automatically fail". Same mechanic. Effect rewritten.

<> Nora's Benevolence (Utility) corrected effect description, the recovery was reduced to "per 3 Buffs on self" instead of for each (too much healing could've been gained from a minor effect).

<> Dora's Malevolence (Debuff) states now that the boon is corrupted into its FIRST counterpart from the list, no longer being caster's choice / random (neither was intended actually).

<> Nora's Innocence (Favor) healing changed from 3% max HP / Buff on self (with no limit to healing, but 1 trigger) to 11 HP for each such Prevent trigger for this effect's duration (not just for the values provided).

 > Double healing if in Light / Holy / Nature Aura.

<> Dora's Gift (Dark Favor) effect description rewritten and corrected keyword color.

<> Dora's Outburst (Utilities) united in 1 single effect.

<> Nora's Flow (Favor) effect description rewritten.

<> Dora's Wisdom (Dark Favor) effect description rewritten.

<> Dark Flattery (Dark Favor) rewrote description to remove confusion, also applies 1x Deathly Horizon as well.

<> Sciaphobia (Debuff) effect description rewrite.

<> Dora's Madness (Dark Favor) effect description rewrite.

<> Nora's Insight (Favor) Armor gained increased to +12. Also removes Armor Gained Prevent value by -1 per Buff on self (max: -5).

<> Frailty (Debuff) reworked to increase Earth damage taken by +10, and Mini Effects deal +4 damage instead (since too few Ailments deal damage anyways).



< Potions >

<> Updating Potions to newer mechanics. Increased Mana cost from 5 Mana to 25 for all.

<> Correcting keyword colors and Tags' colors.

<> Rewriting effects' descriptions according to the newer standards, making them easier to understand.

<> Each gained a Drink CD of 3 rounds.

<> Potion of Healing increased healing from 30 to 84 and also grants HP regeneration. Now lasts 1 round.

 > Consume converted to Sacrifice and effect doubles these effects.

<> Potion of Mana increased Mana gain from 25 to 55.

 > Consume converted to Sacrifice and effect doubles these effects.

<> Potion of Relief also grants Quickness and 2 Enforcers.

<> Potion of Strength also grants one Enforcer and has 1 other effect for characters of class Fighter.

<> Potion of Defense increased chances granted from +10% to +20%.

<> Potion of Intellect also recovers Mana if caster is in a Combo Field; also grants an Aura of choice.

<> Potion of Clarity effect description rewrite to make more sense.

<> Potion of Resistance Consume effect converted to Sacrifice.

<> Potion of Erudition rework, now grants Distichous (Favor), allowing a 2nd Aura to be gained.

 > Next CRAFT Action costs 0 AP instead.

<> Potion of Elemental Play removed the consume boon effect, the other consume was converted to a Sacrifice effect.

 > Now also triggers the Multiplex effect when specified damage Types are dealt.

<> Potion of Invigoration reworked to grant HP Regeneration instead.

 > Also grants Mana when spending Points.

<> Potion of Revival reworked. Can be cast on Departed allies (corrected "foe" into "ally").

 > Revival Stat gain also gained a +1% per Buff on self.

<> Potion of Elemental Choice and Potion of Enveloping Mists can also choose Holy as Type.

<> Potion of Dark Ink specified that it's only Mana cost that is reduced to 0, no other resource.

<> Potion of the Sage grants increased healing, and a little healing on gaining Mini Effects.

<> Potion of Warding grants better protection and Counterattack +1.
