<> The modern chapter has been let to wait since I am working on the Nemesis one. Pictures are from the modern chapter.
<> Facing Alpha Nemesis will be an RPG / Visual Novel hybrid that will focus on action and a Personal Battle System that I am still working on to implement (moving in circles due to adding newer and newer mechanics to some foes and playable characters). I also stream rarely on Twitch and post those stream videos on Youtube (Ferenjianboard Introspection Protocols) and Rumble (Ferenjianboard) as well.
<> Modern project game will focus on Consciousness exploration, especially the dark triad aspect, as well as the darker corners of the mind, madness, betrayal, etc. (in this chapter as well as the others).
<> Picture shows one of the characters, mainly the one whose events are being worked on! There are other 4 who will receive from time to time a few events as well! Picture will be changed in time (maybe).
SOFTWARES I CURRENTLY USE (list will change accordingly):
<> Manga Maker ComiPo! (bust creation, some backgrounds);
<> KumaKuma Manga Editor (same as ComiPo!) - no longer, or rarely;
<> FlowScape (will be used for later chapters) - not used, though I have green light to use it;
<> Portrait Wizard (advanced portrait designer that I love); ^^
<> Game Character Hub: Portfolio Edition (character creation + animation) - still thinking of learning this.
<> Promptchan AI - a website that uses AI to generate images from text. Using this to generate some cool pictures for skills, though am still looking to find out what can be done to be able to use those pictures commercially as well, should the project be sold and not released for free. *Not interested much in using AI-related content, though I might, at least as placeholders. Especially given how expensive artists' commissions may seem for my small salary (honestly, most feel like a ripoff at 100 even 200$ each).
(*) - each of the above allows usage of their assets even in Commercial Projects. Expect to see multiple assets from these softwares. I have read each of their Licenses and/ or contacted their developer in person to receive this answer!
- Assets will be used as placeholders or permanent addition.
<> A NEWkind of project I am working on, a kind of Yu-Gi-Oh! duel episodes. These will try to mimick some of the older episodes, and will feature some older Decks rather than just new ones. The first one, most likely the longest I'll ever make will last very long and have around 50-ish rounds. These will be based off of duels that I will do with physical cards on my own or from good Master Duel games I may use as inspiration.
- Modern project has a relative aim (debatable): 60 possible endings, around 12 per playable character (5 playable characters) for this chapter only.
- a Yu-Gi-Oh! card-based game combat system that I will personally work on, later on. With or without help. This is separate from the episode events I am working on.
UPDATES THOUGHT-AFTER:
- SOME 3D-like characters and move animations for them;
- graphical improvements;
- expansion of soundtrack base (already got a ton of it XD)
DONATION ASPECT:
<> feel free to support the project if you so desire, BUT... it'll take really long to finish (and am also quite busy with many things, though I am sinking time into it). So... as an idea, this chapter requires a few hundred events, am somewhere around 5% with them. Created a few of the longer events, some take even 2 - 3 weeks to finalise. Some of my modern project's progress is shown on Youtube, barely anything on Alpha Nemesis project. Changes have been done since then to those presented events (like corrections!). For the moment not into donations yet.
<> paid a lot of money for it for DLCs (sounds, sprites, tilesets), especially sounds. Total amount is 2000-ish euros/ dollars, if I add all the additional softwares I also bought to make my life easier. These softwares will be used sooner or later, depending on need. My current income is 800$ XD but I can handle ^^
<> Modern project started on 13.03.2019.
<> Alpha Nemesis chapter began around 01.06.2019.
<> Neither has an end date. REMINDER: both these projects started as coding challenges rather than an interest to actually finish a game. And that is why it also took so long. Also they were created mostly intuitively, without too much thought into it and I had long periods when I'd move in circles. As of this year I have been met with long periods of lethargy and little interest in the overly-repetitive part of Alpha Nemesis project (been going through the 6th overhaul for playable characters' ability sets) and this is greatly reducing my passion. But am slowly pushing through.
